Amanda Chadney serves as principal of Santa Rita Elementary School, bringing nearly two decades of experience in public education and a strong commitment to student success, instructional excellence, and positive school culture.

Chadney has been part of the Santa Rita Elementary community since 2022, previously serving as assistant principal. In that role, she supported campus operations and instruction, strengthened student support systems, coached staff, and partnered with teachers and families to advance campus goals.

Before joining the Santa Rita administrative team, Chadney served Liberty Hill ISD as a behavior interventionist and physical education teacher. Her career also includes experience in Round Rock ISD and Beaumont ISD, as well as statewide curriculum development work.

Chadney earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin.

“Santa Rita is a special place filled with amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and a strong tradition of excellence,” Chadney said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue building on the strong foundation already in place while supporting every student, empowering our staff, and partnering with families to ensure all children thrive.”

Chadney and her husband, Josh, have two sons who attend Liberty Hill ISD schools. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Addie, cheering on sports teams, and spending time outdoors.
