Liberty Hill ISD is committed to providing digital content and services that are accessible to students, families, employees, and members of the community, including individuals with disabilities.

The District works to improve the accessibility and usability of its websites, digital documents, forms, applications, and other online resources in accordance with applicable federal accessibility requirements and recognized accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Website Accessibility

Liberty Hill ISD strives to provide web content that is accessible to the broadest possible audience. Accessibility is considered as websites and digital resources are created, updated, and maintained.

The District works toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the technical accessibility standard established for state and local government web content and mobile applications under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Accessibility efforts may include reviewing website content, digital documents, multimedia, forms, navigation, color contrast, alternative text, keyboard access, and compatibility with assistive technologies.

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and the District continually works to identify and address barriers that may affect access to digital information and services. 

Third-Party Content and Services

Liberty Hill ISD may provide links to or use digital resources, applications, documents, or services maintained by third parties. The District does not control the accessibility of all third-party content but works to identify accessible solutions and address accessibility concerns when they are reported.

Reporting an Accessibility Issue

If you experience difficulty accessing information or functionality on a Liberty Hill ISD website or digital resource, please contact the District so assistance can be provided, and the accessibility concern can be reviewed.

When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:

  • The web address or location of the content
  • A description of the accessibility issue
  • The information or format being requested
  • Contact information, if a response is requested

Liberty Hill ISD will make reasonable efforts to provide requested information in an accessible format and to review and address identified accessibility barriers.
